AXISCADES Technologies Limited has announced the appointment of Giridhar Aramane as a Non-Executive Independent Director on its Board. This strategic move aims to enhance the company’s governance and strategic direction as it continues to expand its engineering and technology solutions.
Dr. Sampath Ravinarayanan, Founder Chairman & Managing Director of AXISCADES, expressed confidence in Aramane’s appointment, highlighting his extensive experience across government, infrastructure, and strategic policy. Aramane’s leadership is expected to provide invaluable insights as AXISCADES navigates complex global markets.
Giridhar Aramane brings over three decades of leadership experience in defence, infrastructure, finance, and public policy. An IAS officer from the 1988 batch, he has held significant positions, including Defence Secretary to the Government of India from 2022 to 2024, and roles in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways and the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
Currently, Aramane serves on the boards of Cyient DLM Limited, IL&FS, Go Digit General Insurance, and Raajmarg Infra Investment Managers Private Limited. He is also involved with the Governing Body of IIIT Bangalore and mentors with the ITS India Forum.
Aramane holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, an M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an M.A. in Economics from Kakatiya University, Warangal.
Upon his appointment, Aramane expressed his enthusiasm to contribute to AXISCADES’ strategic priorities and governance frameworks, supporting sustainable, long-term value creation.
