Berger Paints India Ltd. reported strong consolidated earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, supported by improved operational performance and margin expansion.
Revenue from operations for Q4 FY26 increased 6.06% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹2,868.03 crore from ₹2,704.03 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income stood at ₹2,889.74 crore compared to ₹2,721.14 crore in Q4 FY25.
Profit for the quarter rose 27.52% YoY to ₹335.25 crore from ₹262.91 crore in the year-ago period.
At the operating level, EBITDA increased to ₹481.67 crore during the quarter from ₹427.77 crore a year ago, registering a growth of 12.60% YoY. EBITDA margin improved to 16.79% from 15.82% in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total expenses during the quarter rose to ₹2,499 crore compared to ₹2,380.55 crore in Q4 FY25. Raw material consumption stood at ₹1,500.51 crore, while employee benefit expenses came in at ₹222.39 crore.
Finance costs declined to ₹11.60 crore from ₹15.10 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, while depreciation and amortisation expenses increased to ₹101.04 crore from ₹89.19 crore.
Profit before tax came in at ₹438.49 crore compared to ₹349.93 crore in Q4 FY25. Earnings per share (EPS) stood at ₹2.87 against ₹2.25 in the corresponding quarter last year.
The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of ₹4 per equity share of face value Re 1 each, representing 400%, for the financial year 2025-26. The proposed dividend is subject to shareholders’ approval at the company’s 102nd Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The company also approved the re-appointment of Abhijit Roy as Managing Director & CEO for a further term of four years. His renewed tenure will commence from July 1, 2027 and continue until June 30, 2031, following the completion of his current term.
