Godrej Properties Ltd. has strengthened its presence in Pune’s real estate market with the acquisition of a strategically located land parcel in Mahalunge, a fast-growing residential micro-market in the city.

Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL), one of India’s leading real estate developers, announced that it has acquired an approximately 8.5-acre land parcel through an outright purchase in Mahalunge, Pune. The proposed development on this land will primarily focus on group housing and is expected to unlock a developable potential of nearly 2.1 million square feet. According to the company, the project carries an estimated revenue potential of around ₹2,000 crore.

The newly acquired land is located in the Mahalunge–Maan–Nande belt and forms part of the Mahalunge–Hinjewadi micro-market, one of Pune’s most sought-after residential and commercial growth corridors. The location gains added significance due to its proximity to the upcoming Pune Inner Ring Road and its position along the rapidly developing Hinjewadi–Balewadi corridor, which continues to attract strong demand from homebuyers and investors alike.

Mahalunge benefits from well-established social and civic infrastructure, making it an attractive destination for end users. The area is close to reputed educational institutions such as Delhi Public School, Mahindra International School, and the Symbiosis Centre for Management, enhancing its appeal for families seeking quality residential options. In addition, the location offers seamless connectivity to Baner–Balewadi and Hinjewadi, two prominent Pune micro-markets that serve as major IT and BFSI employment hubs.
