Siemens Limited reported a 36.3% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, even as revenue grew at a healthy pace, with margin compression weighing on the bottom line.
Revenue from operations rose 14.6% to ₹4,617.50 crore in Q4 from ₹4,029.20 crore in the year-ago quarter. Net profit for the period, including discontinued operations, came in at ₹370.40 crore against ₹582.50 crore in Q4 of the previous year, a decline of 36.3%.
| Metric | Q4 FY26 | Q4 FY25 | YoY Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue from Operations | ₹4,617.50 cr | ₹4,029.20 cr | +14.6% |
| EBITDA | ₹440 cr | ₹468 cr | -6.0% |
| EBITDA Margin | 9.61% | 10.98% | -137 bps |
| Profit Before Tax | ₹456.30 cr | ₹528.20 cr | -13.6% |
| Net Profit (total) | ₹370.40 cr | ₹582.50 cr | -36.3% |
EBITDA fell to ₹440 crore from ₹468 crore in the year-ago quarter, with EBITDA margin contracting 137 basis points to 9.61% from 10.98%. The profit decline was partly driven by the absence of significant discontinued operations income that boosted the year-ago base.
The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹18 per share.
Siemens changed its financial year end from September to March, making the 18-month period ended March 2026 a transitional reporting cycle. Full-year comparisons across the two periods are therefore not like-for-like.
