Counting of votes for the Bihar Election 2025 has begun, with results set to decide the political future of all 243 constituencies across 38 districts. The Election Commission of India commenced counting at 8 a.m., following a high voter turnout of 67.13% in the two-phase polling held on November 6 and 11. The contest centres on whether Chief Minister Nitish Kumar secures a record fifth term or if Tejashwi Yadav’s Mahagathbandhan takes power. Early trends from major TV networks suggest the NDA has taken an initial lead, while leaders from both alliances express confidence as the day progresses.
