H.G. Infra Engineering Limited has been awarded a significant contract by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited to establish an Inter-State Transmission System in Jharkhand. The project, part of the WR-ER Inter-Regional Network Expansion Scheme – Part C, will be executed through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.
The contract, which is domestic in nature, involves the Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) model and is set to be completed within 30 months. The project will generate transmission charges of ₹1,145.34 million per year over a period of 35 years.
The REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, is the entity awarding this contract. The order does not involve any related party transactions, and there is no interest from the promoter or promoter group in the awarding entity.
This contract marks a significant milestone for H.G. Infra Engineering as it continues to expand its footprint in the infrastructure sector.
