A high-level security meeting was convened on Thursday at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, amid ongoing investigations into the recent Red Fort blast incident. According to news agency IANS, Intelligence Bureau (IB) Chief Tapan Kumar Deka, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, and Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan were present at the meeting.
The discussion comes at a critical time as security agencies continue to probe the high-intensity blast near Delhi’s Red Fort that left ten people dead and more than twenty injured earlier this week. The meeting is expected to have focused on threat assessments, intelligence coordination, and ongoing counter-terror operations.
More details are awaited.
