Schaeffler India Limited, a leading motion technology company, has announced a major expansion of its industrial product portfolio with the launch of Made-in-India large-size spherical roller bearings (SRBs), cast steel housings, and associated accessories. The new products are manufactured at the company’s advanced facility in Savli, Gujarat, reinforcing its commitment to localization and the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
The expanded portfolio is aimed at supporting heavy-duty applications across sectors such as steel, cement, mining, power, and pulp & paper. These locally manufactured SRBs, built to X-life quality standards, will cover outer diameters up to 720 mm across key bearing series including 222, 223, 230, 231, 240, and 241.

The company also introduced cast steel housings, adapter and withdrawal sleeves, and hydraulic sleeves engineered for high durability under extreme conditions. These components include features such as advanced sealing, internal lubrication grooves, and mounting provisions for sensors and auto-lubricators, enhancing both reliability and ease of maintenance.

Schaeffler aims to position itself as a single-window partner for motion solutions by offering a complete product suite – from bearings and housings to sealing systems, lubricants, and condition monitoring technologies.
The new components are designed to serve critical industrial machinery such as conveyors, stacker reclaimers, gearboxes, crushers, and pulping systems.
