On the night of June 27, fans were heartbroken by the sad news about Lizzy Musi, the reality TV star who gained fame with the Street Outlaws franchise series, No Prep Kings.

Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings was the tenth installment in the popular Street Outlaws franchise, following nine successful seasons that aired on the Discovery Channel from 2013 to 2017. The 2018 series introduced fans to a new group of professional racers who transitioned from street racing to the drag strip. Among the most beloved was Lizzy Musi.

Lizzy skyrocketed to fame after her appearance on the show. However, in April of last year, she took to Instagram to share some devastating news: she had been diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer. In a heartfelt post, she also uploaded a YouTube video detailing her diagnosis and raising awareness about her condition.

“Hey Everyone, I haven’t been able to have much time to post due to an unexpected life change. A few days ago I have been diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer that has moved to my lymph nodes to my liver… I have a rough journey ahead of me. I appreciate everyone’s messages and calls.”

Two months after revealing her diagnosis, Lizzy shared another update, bravely posting that she had shaved her head due to extreme hair loss. Throughout her battle, she kept her fans in the loop, sharing the raw realities of her journey.

Tragically, Lizzy Musi passed away at 33 after a long battle with breast cancer.

A year after her diagnosis, on the night of June 27, 2024, fans received the devastating news of her passing. Lizzy’s father, Pat Musi, who also starred alongside her on No Prep Kings and is an eight-time PDRA Pro Street World Champion, announced her death in a Facebook post, writing:

“Surrounded by her Family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 pm tonight.”

Pat then expressed gratitude for all the prayers and support they received throughout Lizzy’s battle and requested privacy for the family to process their loss. He added:

“At this time, the family would like to have time to process, grieve, and make arrangements in peace. We will give an update as soon as we have information to share.”

The news sent shockwaves through Lizzy’s fan base, who flooded social media with messages of grief and tributes. Her Instagram comments were filled with heartfelt messages from fans, reflecting the profound impact she had on many lives with her personal and professional achievements.
