Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s last project with Alia Bhatt was a blockbuster. The filmmaker was in talks about making the musical drama Baiju Bawra. The project has been buzzed around for quite some time and it was speculated to be SLB’s next filming venture.
However, it comes as a misfortune as SLB will be putting a hold on Baiju Bawra and focusing on a new project. The upcoming movie will include a star-studded cast and a few young stars as well.
Currently, the filmmaker is busy with completing the post-production work for his web series Heeramandi. After he gets done with his magnum opus, SLB will start with the new project. Reportedly Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been roped in for the project along with a few other stars as well.
Earlier, it was also being reported that SLB will be venturing into reviving the project Inshallah with Shah Rukh Khan. This will be something new for the director, shifting from intense period dramas to contemporary storylines. The film will be a light-hearted romantic comedy and Shah Rukh will be a perfect choice for the role.
Shah Rukh is in talks with SLB for the upcoming project. He has been presented with the script and is considering the role. However, no official confirmation has been stated as of now. If SRK join hands with SLB, it will be a spectacular gift for fans to witness two incredible talents work together again.
