Shares of BSE-listed Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (Waaree RTL), the EPC division of the Waaree Group, surged by 5% following the company’s strong second-quarter results for FY2024-25 (Q2FY25).

The renewable energy firm reported a substantial increase in net profit, which nearly tripled to ₹53.51 crore in the September quarter, driven by higher income. This marks a 160% year-on-year (YoY) growth in profit after tax, up from ₹20.54 crore in the same period last year.

Waaree RTL’s total income also rose significantly, reaching ₹527.86 crore compared to ₹150.93 crore in Q2FY24, highlighting the company’s impressive growth trajectory and increased operational performance.

This robust financial performance has boosted investor sentiment, reflected in the 5% gain in Waaree Renewable Technologies’ share price.
