The makers of John Abraham’s next feature film, The Diplomat, have announced that it would be released in theatres on January 11, 2024. Diplomat, directed by Shivam Nair of Naam Shabana fame, is a high-octane drama. John plays a high-ranking government figure in the film.
According to reports, the film is based on a genuine tale that shocked the country. The makers claim that the gripping drama would take fans on a roller coaster trip.
Ritesh Shah, known for his work on films such as John-led Force, Batla House, and Rocky Handsome, as well as D-Day and Pink, wrote the screenplay for The Diplomat.
On Instagram, John shared the first look poster for The Diplomat, writing, “Some wars are fought even outside the battlefield. Prepare for a new kind of a hero as the high-octane drama #TheDiplomat gets a release date! The film will release globally on 11th January 2024.”
T-Series, JA Entertainment, Vipul D Shah, Wakaoo Films, Fortune Pictures, and Seeta Films are producing the film.
John was most recently seen in the hit flick Pathaan. He is also working on the action thriller Tehran. John is now in Rajasthan filming Nikkhil Advani’s flick Vedaa. Sharvari also plays the key role.
