Tata Consultancy Services has entered into a strategic partnership with Siemens Energy AG to accelerate artificial intelligence (AI)-led transformation across industrial and energy sectors.
The collaboration involves two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed between TCS, Siemens Energy AG and Siemens Energy India Limited, aimed at strengthening digital capabilities across IT services, industrial AI, data centres and energy infrastructure.
Under the partnership, TCS will leverage its capabilities in AI, data and engineering to support Siemens Energy in building intelligent and sustainable digital backbones. The collaboration will focus on advancing industrial autonomy through solutions such as digital twins, predictive analytics, smart manufacturing and integrated IT-OT systems, enabling improved operational efficiency and productivity.
As a preferred IT partner, TCS will continue to assist Siemens Energy in building secure, resilient and cost-optimised digital infrastructure with a strong focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement. The partnership also includes opportunities in AI infrastructure development, particularly in India, where Siemens Energy India Limited will support TCS’ HyperVault business to address the growing energy demands of AI-ready data centres.
The collaboration is expected to play a key role in building next-generation energy solutions by combining Siemens Energy’s expertise in power generation, electrification and grid technologies with TCS’ strengths in digital engineering and AI platforms.
Commenting on the partnership, Christian Bruch, President and CEO of Siemens Energy AG, said the collaboration will help create scalable digital infrastructure innovation and unlock value for customers while supporting global growth ambitions.
K. Krithivasan, MD and CEO of TCS, noted that energy and industrial enterprises are at a pivotal inflection point where competitiveness will depend on the ability to modernise core technologies and scale AI-led operations. He added that the partnership will help build resilient digital foundations and accelerate the development of AI-ready data centres.
The agreement builds on a two-decade-long relationship between TCS and Siemens Energy and is expected to drive innovation, enhance operational resilience and support sustainable growth across global energy ecosystems.
