Varun Beverages Limited reported a steady set of earnings for the third quarter, with growth visible across revenue, profit, and operating performance on a year-on-year basis, even as margins showed mild contraction.
During Q3, Varun Beverages posted a net profit of ₹251.7 crore, registering a 36% increase compared with ₹185 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The improvement in profitability came on the back of higher sales volumes and continued demand across its beverage portfolio.
Revenue for the quarter rose 13.5% year-on-year to ₹4,334.7 crore, up from ₹3,817.6 crore in Q3 of the previous financial year. The topline growth reflects sustained consumption trends and expanded market reach during the quarter.
Operating performance also improved, with EBITDA increasing 10.2% to ₹639 crore from ₹580 crore on a YoY basis. However, EBITDA margin declined to 14.7% compared with 15.2% in the same quarter last year, indicating pressure on operating efficiency despite higher absolute earnings.
