HeidelbergCement India Ltd reported a strong sequential improvement in profitability for the quarter ended March 2026, supported by higher revenue and improved operating performance compared with the previous quarter.

Revenue from operations during Q4FY26 stood at ₹646.22 crore, compared with ₹612.46 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting a growth of around 5.5% YoY.

The company’s net profit for the quarter came in at ₹45.21 crore, compared with ₹50.45 crore reported in Q4FY25. However, on a sequential basis, profit surged sharply from ₹15.60 crore reported in Q3FY26.

Based on the company’s reported financials, EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹87.91 crore compared with ₹90.64 crore in the year-ago quarter. EBITDA margin came in at 13.6% during Q4FY26 versus 14.8% in Q4FY25, indicating a contraction of around 120 basis points.

Total income during the quarter stood at ₹653.45 crore against ₹623.67 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.

Among major expenses, power and fuel costs remained elevated at ₹162.96 crore during the quarter, while freight and forwarding expenses stood at ₹97.22 crore. Employee benefit expenses came in at ₹49.81 crore.

Finance costs declined sharply to ₹1.13 crore from ₹5.05 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, while depreciation and amortisation expenses stood at ₹27.33 crore.

Profit before exceptional items and tax came in at ₹66.68 crore during the quarter compared with ₹69.56 crore reported in Q4FY25.
