Cosmic CRF Limited, a prominent manufacturer of railway components and infrastructure solutions, has announced a major strategic development as part of its ongoing growth plan. On 16th September 2025, its subsidiary, Cosmic Springs & Engineers Limited (CSEL), received physical possession of a freehold industrial land parcel to establish a state-of-the-art forging facility. This new facility is aimed at addressing the rising demand for precision-engineered components for railway wagons, defence equipment, and industrial applications.
The proposed forging facility will have an installed capacity of approximately 11,000 tons per annum, with machinery orders already underway and production expected to begin within six months. The plant will manufacture high-quality iron and steel components, including critical items such as yoke pin supports, back-stops, end pieces, struts, lock lift lever hooks, universal lock lift lever connectors, toggles, knuckle throwers, and other products essential to railways and defence operations.
This expansion reinforces Cosmic CRF’s position as a comprehensive solutions provider for Indian Railways, wagon manufacturers, and defence stakeholders. The new facility will enhance the company’s ability to deliver innovative, high-quality components while enabling cross-selling opportunities and expanding its presence in new market segments.
