EIH Associated Hotels, part of the Oberoi Group, reported a strong 72.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26), with profit after tax rising to Rs 61.76 crore from Rs 35.98 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s total income for the quarter stood at Rs 736.81 crore, up 6.8% from Rs 689.76 crore in Q1 FY25. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 687.43 crore, compared to Rs 644.81 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Other income also rose to Rs 49.37 crore from Rs 44.99 crore last year.
Total expenses came in at Rs 640.87 crore, up from Rs 614.91 crore in Q1 FY25. The rise was driven by higher consumption of provisions (Rs 57.56 crore), employee benefit expenses (Rs 174.61 crore), and depreciation and amortisation (Rs 36.54 crore).
Profit before tax stood at Rs 82.82 crore, up 71.6% YoY. However, the company saw a jump in tax expenses at Rs 21.06 crore compared to Rs 12.47 crore in Q1 FY25.
Sequentially, the company’s performance declined as revenue fell from Rs 1,399.1 crore in Q4 FY25 and net profit dropped from Rs 462.7 crore in the previous quarter.
