Top gainers
Maruti Suzuki was the standout performer, rising 4.39% on BSE to ₹13,457.55, with a matching gain of 4.36% on NSE at ₹13,454.00. Eicher Motors gained 2.68% on BSE to ₹7,259.95. Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) was up 2.46% to ₹3,164.00 on BSE. TVS Motors added 2.15%, trading at ₹3,571.80 on BSE. Force Motors rose 1.80% to ₹21,130.00 on BSE.
Among two-wheelers, Hero MotoCorp and Bajaj Auto both advanced, gaining 1.54% and 1.38% respectively on BSE. Ather Energy and Ola Electric Mobility, representing the EV two-wheeler segment, also posted gains of 1.54% and 1.62% respectively.
Laggards
Landmark Cars was the worst performer of the session, declining 2.42% on BSE to ₹411.70. SML Isuzu fell 1.22% to ₹3,822.70. Ashok Leyland slipped 0.90% to ₹166.00 on BSE. Escorts Kubota and Olectra Greentech saw minor losses of 0.22% and 0.12% respectively.
