Godrej Properties Limited (GPL), a leading real estate developer in India, has announced the outright acquisition of a ~48-acre land parcel in Doddaballapur, North Bengaluru. The newly acquired site holds a development potential of approximately 1.1 million square feet and will be used primarily for residential plotted development.

Located near the Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR), the land is situated in a strategically emerging micro-market that offers proximity to Kempegowda International Airport, growing industrial infrastructure, and attractions like Nandi Hills.

“This acquisition reinforces our focus on expanding our presence in key growth corridors through well-planned residential communities,” said Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties. “Bengaluru continues to be a priority market for us, and we look forward to delivering a project that offers long-term value to its residents.”

The acquisition underlines GPL’s ongoing expansion in Bengaluru and is aligned with its strategy to secure land parcels in high-potential urban zones. The company was India’s largest developer by residential sales value in FY2025, maintaining the position it held in FY2024.

Godrej Properties continues to uphold its commitment to sustainability, with all projects certified as green buildings by third parties. The company has received over 400 recognitions in recent years, including Developer of the Year at the GRI India Awards 2024.
