Shares of Waaree Energies rose nearly 3% in early trade after the company announced two major acquisitions aimed at expanding its business operations. As of 9:21 AM, the shares were trading 1.14% higher at Rs 2,982.00.

In a regulatory filing, the company revealed that its board has approved the acquisition of Kamath Transformers Private Ltd for Rs 293 crore. Kamath Transformers is a key player in the transformer manufacturing sector. Waaree stated that the acquisition aligns with its ongoing business expansion strategy.

Additionally, Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, will acquire Green New Delhi Forever Energy Private Limited. The acquisition will be executed at a price of Rs 1 lakh per share, each with a face value of Rs 10.

Both transactions are expected to be completed in FY26 and will be entirely funded through internal cash resources, as per the company’s exchange filing.
