Mafatlal Industries Limited (BSE: 500264), a leading player in the Indian textile industry, has announced the receipt of a significant order worth approximately INR 60.7 crore from the Odisha Government. The order involves supplying sanitary napkins to government schools and the state medical corporation network in Odisha, aimed at promoting personal hygiene for school-going girls. The company will execute the order over the next three to four quarters.

The order is part of Mafatlal Industries’ strategy to grow its hygiene segment under its Technical Textiles division, a segment the company entered in 2016.
