RMC Switchgears Limited has announced a significant milestone by securing a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 5,000 solar pumps in Maharashtra. The total order value is ₹90 crore (excluding taxes), and the project comprises 3HP, 5HP, and 7HP solar pump systems, slated for completion in FY25-26.
This achievement reinforces RMC’s role in India’s clean energy transition and sustainable irrigation solutions for farmers. The project aligns with the state’s ambitious target of deploying 1.5 million solar pumps and RMC’s broader strategy to expand its Solar EPC and IPP solutions.
RMC’s success in this order also complements its recent ₹100 crore solar module manufacturing plant investment in Jaipur, Rajasthan, enhancing efficiency and reducing supplier dependency. The company continues to focus on large-scale infrastructure, supporting India’s renewable energy goals and power security.
