Hatsun Agro Product Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. J Shanmuga Priyan as the Managing Director of the company, effective from September 12, 2024. The decision was approved by the Board of Directors based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Mr. Priyan, aged 46, has been with Hatsun Agro for over two decades. He joined the company in 2001 and has since gained extensive experience across various departments, including procurement, logistics, finance, and operations. Before his promotion, he served as the Chief Operating Officer.
His appointment as Managing Director is for a term of five years, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Priyan brings a wealth of knowledge in the dairy industry, and the company looks forward to his leadership in the years to come.
