After the suspension of 141 MPs from different parties from both the Houses of Parliament, a meeting of Opposition Alliance INDIA was held in Delhi today. Many common issues like seat sharing and PM face were discussed in the meeting and other issues were also discussed.

After the INDIA Alliance meeting on Tuesday evening, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury said on this issue, “Yes, it (EVM issue) was discussed. A proposal was passed…We will raise the matter before EC…” (As quoted by news agency ANI)

Even before this, the issue of and has been discussed in the INDIA’s meeting. Then a committee was formed under the leadership of Digvijay Singh, and it was said that it would meet the Election Commission. Leaders like Sharad Pawar and Mamata Banerjee had raised questions on EVMs and demanded elections through ballot paper.
The third meeting of INDIA Alliance was held today at Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi in which Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee, Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray, CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury, SP chief Akhilesh. Yadav, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, along with other big leaders, discussed various issues like seat sharing formula, joint election campaign, and a list of media panellists.
It is noteworthy that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had called a meeting of the opposition alliance India on December 6 after the election results of five states, however, it was cancelled due to the unavailability of other leaders.
