Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have been rumoured to be dating for quite a while now. Their vacation trips and public appearances often add fuel to the fire, confirming the audience’s speculations. Rashmika and Vijay have also worked together in films such as Dear Comrade and Geetha Govinda. Now it seems like the actors will be reuniting again for their next project.
Vijay starrer Family Star’s shooting has begun. The film also has Mrunal Thakur in the lead. According to reports, it has been known that Rashmika will have a cameo appearance in the movie. A recent video has gone viral which features Vijay, Rashmika and Mrunal dancing to a fun song from the film.
Rashmika is seen wearing a pastel lehenga, Vijay donned a white suit and Mrunal wore a red lehenga. Three of them were seen grooving on the song with their killer moves. The song has been shot in New Delhi, as reported by Pinkvilla.
A while ago Rashmika and Mrunal shared the same stories on their Instagram handle. This also suggests that the Animal star will have a special appearance in the film. However, the information hasn’t been confirmed by the Family Star’s makers.
Family Star is directed by Parasuram Petla. It stars Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. The film was initially supposed to be released in January 2024. Now, the release date has been pushed ahead and the film will be released in summer 2024.
On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is currently gearing up for her latest film Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in the lead roles. She will also be reprising her role as Srivalli in the sequel of Pushpa. The actress has yet another project with Vijay i.e. VD12. She has even announced her next project with director Rahul Ravindran. The film is titled Girlfriend and its official poster was released a few times back.
