Hyderabad, June 19 : NTPC on Monday signed a Fuel Supply Agreement (FSA) and Supplementary Agreement with The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) for its power stations located in Ramagundam, Kudgi, and Solapur.
The agreement comprises a Fuel Supply Agreement for the Kudgi 2 Units and a Supplementary Agreement for the FSA of Solapur Unit-2. It will also serve as a supplementary agreement to the existing FSA of Ramagundam.
The signing ceremony between NTPC and SCCL also included a Supplementary Agreement for the aggregation of SCCL ACQs (Additional Coal Quantities) and the implementation of flexible utilization of domestic coal policy, as stated in an official statement.
Debashish Chattopadhya, RED (South & WR-I), signed the agreement on behalf of NTPC Limited, while K. Suryanarayana, GM (Marketing) of SCCL, signed on behalf of SCCL. The signing took place in the presence of J. Allwyn, ED (Coal Movement) SCCL.
The programme was graced by Pradipta Kumar Mishra, ED (FM), along with the respective Heads of Power Stations from Ramagundam, Kudgi, and Solapur, as well as officials from the concerned departments of NTPC and SCCL, including CC-FM, SRHQ, and SCCL.
