Gold prices showed marginal variation across key Indian cities on December 31, reflecting local levies and logistics costs.

In Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kerala and Pune, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 13,588 per gram, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 12,455 per gram and 18-carat gold at Rs 10,191 per gram.

In Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow, gold traded slightly higher, with 24K gold at Rs 13,603 per gram, 22K gold at Rs 12,470 per gram, and 18K gold at Rs 10,206 per gram.

Chennai recorded the highest rates among major cities, where 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 13,691 per gram, 22-carat gold at Rs 12,550, and 18-carat gold at Rs 10,470 per gram.

Meanwhile, Ahmedabad and Vadodara saw 24K gold at Rs 13,593 per gram, 22K gold at Rs 12,460, and 18K gold at Rs 10,196 per gram.

Overall, gold prices remained broadly stable across regions, with only minor differences between cities.
