India’s leading IT services giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its global cloud portfolio with the launch of SovereignSecure Cloud™ in Europe. The new offering is aimed at governments, public sector enterprises, and highly regulated industries seeking secure and compliant digital infrastructure solutions.

The company said the platform combines sovereign cloud architecture with AI-led capabilities to help organizations achieve greater control over data, operations, and digital infrastructure while maintaining agility and scalability.

The launch comes at a time when enterprises and governments across the European Union (EU) are increasingly focusing on digital sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity amid evolving global geopolitical and regulatory challenges.

According to TCS, the SovereignSecure Cloud™ for Europe has been designed with a multi-layered architecture. The offering includes a sovereign cloud layer delivered through hyperscalers, allowing organizations to scale operations securely within EU regulations.

The platform also includes a national sovereign cloud layer that supports country-specific localization requirements while maintaining centralized operational control. In addition, the enterprise cloud services layer leverages the TCS Enterprise Cloud Framework to dynamically apply different levels of sovereignty depending on workload sensitivity, sector requirements, and operational risks.

TCS has also introduced its Sovereignty Consulting and Delivery Framework in Europe. The framework is designed to help organizations become what the company describes as a “minimum viable sovereign enterprise” by balancing operational flexibility with sovereign protection measures.

The consulting framework follows a risk-based approach that categorizes workloads based on importance and applies appropriate levels of sovereignty protection where needed. The company said this enables enterprises to focus security and compliance efforts on critical workloads while maintaining efficiency and innovation.

The company highlighted that the new cloud offering combines hyperscaler scale, localized sovereign controls, and AI-driven capabilities to help organizations achieve digital autonomy without compromising innovation, operational resilience, or business agility.

The Europe launch builds on the successful rollout of TCS SovereignSecure Cloud™ in India in 2025, followed by expansion into Kenya, East Africa, and the Philippines.

TCS has maintained a strong presence in Europe for over 45 years and currently operates through 58 offices across the region. The company supports digital transformation initiatives for several leading European multinational corporations across sectors including banking and financial services, manufacturing, telecom, retail, travel, and logistics.
