Larsen & Toubro announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, L&T GeoStructure, has secured multiple domestic orders across the steel, inland waterways and maritime infrastructure segments.
According to the company, the newly secured contracts fall under the “significant” category, indicating an order value ranging between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore.
Among the major wins, L&T GeoStructure secured its largest-ever piling order from JSW Utkal Steel Ltd, a subsidiary of JSW Steel, for the upcoming 10 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant at Paradeep, Odisha.
The project spans nine major packages and includes key infrastructure related to the Blast Furnace, Hot Strip Mill and Steel Melting Shop. The scope of work involves piling works of nearly 30 lakh running metres, which will be executed within a stringent timeline.
In addition, the business secured two separate engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders from the Inland Waterways Authority of India for the development of Ship Repair Facilities (SRF) at Patna and Varanasi.
The planned facilities in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh will feature advanced Ship Lift and Transfer Systems, including an 800-tonne boat hoist, aimed at supporting the repair and maintenance of inland vessels. These projects are expected to strengthen inland water transport infrastructure along National Waterway-1 on the River Ganga.
L&T GeoStructure has also secured an order from the Mumbai Port Authority for the construction of India’s first yacht marina at Mumbai Harbour.
The marina project will include an approach trestle, piled breakwater, service platforms, concrete pontoons and gangways to facilitate safe and efficient yacht operations. The development is expected to support maritime tourism and contribute to India’s broader blue economy ambitions.
The latest order wins further strengthen L&T GeoStructure’s presence in large-scale industrial, transport and maritime infrastructure projects across India.
