In the wake of the Delhi Red Fort blast, multiple states across India have been placed on high alert as authorities intensify security checks and surveillance measures. The move follows heightened concerns of possible coordinated threats after the explosion in the national capital.

According to reports from ANI, Bihar, Chandigarh, Kerala, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh are among the states that have strengthened police presence and issued high-alert advisories. In Bihar, law enforcement teams are carrying out strict inspections, while in Chandigarh, police have tightened vigilance across key public areas.

In Kerala, Police Chief Ravada Azad Chandrasekhar has directed officers to enhance security arrangements statewide. Haryana authorities have instructed all district magistrates to ensure maximum preparedness, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked the police force to remain on full alert following a briefing from DGP Rajiv Krishna, emphasizing intensive checking and surveillance.

The nationwide alert comes after Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis earlier reviewed the security situation in Mumbai following the recovery of 360 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate in Faridabad. He too directed police and intelligence agencies to remain vigilant.

The Delhi blast, which occurred near the Red Fort area, left at least eight people dead and several injured, prompting a large-scale security review led by Home Minister Amit Shah and senior officials. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been briefed on the evolving situation.
