Even as Delhi Police and emergency teams continue their probe into the explosion near the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, officials have confirmed that Delhi Metro services are operating normally.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) clarified that there has been no disruption across any line, and trains are running on schedule. Metro authorities have, however, stated that they are maintaining close coordination with local law enforcement following the blast, which occurred near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station around 6:30 pm.

Passengers were briefly advised to avoid crowding at the Lal Qila station area while fire and police officials managed the situation. The surrounding roads continue to witness heavy traffic due to diversions and ongoing investigation work.
