Hitachi Energy India shares surged more than 7% in early trade after the company posted impressive second-quarter results for FY25, showcasing strong growth across all key financial parameters. As of 9:21 AM, the shares were trading 6.50% higher at Rs 19,084.00.
The company’s net profit soared 404% year-on-year to ₹264 crore, compared to ₹52.3 crore in the same quarter last year, driven by robust demand and efficient execution. Revenue rose 18% YoY to ₹1,832 crore from ₹1,553 crore, reflecting consistent performance across business segments.
EBITDA jumped 172% YoY to ₹299 crore, while margins expanded significantly to 16.99% from 7.28% in the year-ago period, underlining the company’s improved cost control and operational efficiency.
