The Delhi High Court received a bomb threat on Friday, triggering immediate security protocols and the evacuation of judges, lawyers, litigants, and staff members as a precautionary measure.

According to Delhi Police sources, the threat came through an email, which mentioned a court but did not specify the exact location. A Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) was swiftly deployed, and the premises were sealed for a thorough search operation.

This comes amid a string of recent hoax bomb threats targeting institutions across the National Capital Region, raising concerns about recurring security disruptions. Authorities have launched an investigation into the source of the email.
