UltraTech Cement, India’s largest cement producer, has successfully enhanced its production capacity by 1.2 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) through strategic efficiency improvements and debottlenecking initiatives.
The latest expansion includes:
- Hirmi, Chhattisgarh (Integrated Unit): Increased capacity by 0.8 MTPA
- Roorkee, Uttarakhand (Grinding Unit): Added 0.4 MTPA
With these upgrades, UltraTech Cement’s total domestic grey cement capacity has now reached 178.86 MTPA, further solidifying its leadership in the industry. Additionally, the company’s global production capacity now stands at 184.26 MTPA, including 5.4 MTPA from its overseas operations.
These expansions align with UltraTech Cement’s commitment to strengthening its manufacturing efficiency and meeting the growing demand for high-quality cement in India and global markets.
