Salman Khan still holds the title of the most eligible bachelor of Bollywood. Even at the age of 59, Salman remains unmarried, and one of the major reasons behind this is the actor’s expectation from his partner. An old interview with Salman’s father, Salim Khan has resurfaced and went viral.
During his conversation with Komal Nahta, Salim saab shared that Salman’s unwillingness to marry arises from his conflicting expectations. He explained that the actor’s thoughts about marriage are at odds with his actions. “Salman ka pata nahi kya hai.. Salman ki ek toh is wajah se bhi shaadi nahi hoti hai ki thoda sa contradiction bhi hai Salman ki thinking main,” stated the veteran writer.
The writer of Sholay also revealed that Salman gets attached to his co-stars pretty fast. He also remarked that Salman, after getting in a relationship, looks out for qualities of his mother in his partner. As per Salim saab, this expectation gives rise to tensions as Salman wants a career oriented wife, who is willing to give up her ambitions and focus on family life.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action-thriller Sikandar, which shall be released on Eid 2025.
