Genesys International Corporation Ltd has recently informed exchanges that the company secured a major project worth Rs. 56 crore from the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys (DLRS), West Bengal. This project aims to modernize the state’s land records using advanced geospatial technologies, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of land administration.

The initiative will leverage cutting-edge mapping and georeferencing technologies, relying on stereo and mono imagery provided by the DLRS. These images will be used to generate high-resolution orthorectified images (ORI) and georeferenced cadastral maps. The stereo image pairs will help create 3D terrain models, while mono satellite images will support other mapping needs.

The project is set to revolutionize land record management in West Bengal by improving the accuracy of cadastral maps, aiding administrative processes, and boosting public access. By integrating georeferenced vector maps with high-resolution images, the initiative ensures reliable and up-to-date land data crucial for land administration, urban planning, and dispute resolution.

Genesys International’s New India Map Stack, a comprehensive data model suite, will further support applications in urban planning, infrastructure development, and location intelligence. This award highlights Genesys International’s commitment to providing innovative geospatial solutions that meet the growing demands of digital infrastructure and land management.
