Insolation Energy Limited has announced a consolidated revenue target of ₹8,000 crore ($1 billion) and secured 45 acres (1,82,108.5 sq. mtr) of land in Madhya Pradesh for setting up a solar integrated manufacturing plant. This strategic initiative aligns with the company’s renewable energy growth aspirations.

  • Land Allocation: Allotted at ₹1 per sq. mtr under a Letter of Intent from the Madhya Pradesh government.
  • Investment: ₹1,800 crore for setting up the manufacturing facility in two phases.
  • Manufacturing Capacity:
    • 3 GW for solar cell manufacturing
    • 4 GW for solar module manufacturing
    • 24,000 MT for aluminum frame manufacturing
  • Special Benefits:
    • Capital Incentive Subsidy up to 40%
    • Electricity at ₹4.36 per unit
    • Water supply at ₹25/KL

The project is expected to create over 1,600 direct and indirect employment opportunities, boosting regional development. This will be the company’s fourth manufacturing facility and its first outside Rajasthan. Work is also underway to enhance solar module capacity from 1 GW to 4 GW by April 2025.
