IRCTC has appointed Shri Gaisingam Kabui as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective October 1, 2024. This decision was made based on the recommendations of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee, and it was approved by the Board of Directors during their meeting held on September 30, 2024.
Brief Profile of Gaisingam Kabui:
- Professional Background: Shri Gaisingam Kabui is an IRAS officer from the 2001 batch. He has extensive experience in railway finance, having served as the finance head for both the Lumding and Katihar Railway Divisions.
- Previous Roles: Kabui has also worked at the Railway Board as Director of Finance/CCA. Before joining IRCTC, he was posted as Financial Adviser and Chief Account Officer/FOIS in Northern Railway.
- Expertise: He has worked in all segments of railway finance, covering both open line operations and construction organization segments.
