HG Infra Engineering Limited has been awarded a significant contract by Welspun Enterprises Limited for the construction of a 6-lane highway corridor in Maharashtra. The project, valued at ₹3931.11 crore, is set to enhance the existing road infrastructure from Pune to Shirur.
The contract involves the construction of a partially elevated highway corridor along with improvements to the existing road from Km. 10+600 to Km. 64+000, covering a minimum design length of 53.40 km. This ambitious project is expected to be completed within a 36-month timeframe.
Welspun Enterprises Limited, a domestic entity, has entrusted HG Infra Engineering with this project, which will be executed on an item rate basis. The project does not involve any related party transactions, and the promoter group of HG Infra Engineering has no interest in Welspun Enterprises.
This new contract underscores HG Infra Engineering’s capabilities in executing large-scale infrastructure projects and its commitment to contributing to the development of India’s road network.
