Sarda Energy & Minerals shares jumped more than 3% in morning trade after the company got the environmental nod to expand the production capacity of Gare Palma block.
In the exchange filing, the company shared, “We are pleased to inform that the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, Raipur has granted to the Company, the Consent to Establish cum Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, for expansion of production capacity of Gare Palma IV/7 Coal Mine (Karwahi Open Cast Coal Mine) of the Company from 1.44 MTPA to 1.68 MTPA.”
As of 9:26 am, Sarda Energy & Minerals shares were trading 3.18% higher at Rs 456.50 on the NSE.
