Redington Limited, a major Indian technology solutions provider, has achieved LEED Platinum certification for its corporate office in Chennai. This prestigious recognition from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) underscores Redington’s strong commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system is renowned worldwide, with Platinum being the highest level of certification. This achievement means that Redington’s Chennai office has met and surpassed rigorous standards in areas such as reducing CO2 emissions, improving energy performance, and using sustainable materials.
The Redington Chennai campus, designed to accommodate over 500 employees, features advanced energy management systems. These include energy-efficient lighting, HVAC systems, and a 60 KVA rooftop solar power system, all aimed at minimizing energy use and reducing the campus’s carbon footprint.
