On Saturday, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi addressed an election rally in Kharsia, Chhattisgarh, where he attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over BJP’s manifesto named “Modi Ki Guarantee”. Rahul Gandhi said that Modi Ki Guarantee means 100 per cent lie.

Modi ji had said — Will give Rs 15 lakh in everyone’s account, Demonetization will eliminate black money, farmers will benefit from the Kisan Bill, small traders will benefit from GST, farmers will get Rs 2500 for paddy in Chhattisgarh, loans of farmers of Chhattisgarh will be waived off, but did nothing,” said Rahul Gandhi.

“The Congress government of Chhattisgarh has given Rs 23 thousand crores to the farmers under ‘Kisan Nyay Yojana’. Today we are giving 7 thousand rupees to the labourers, which will increase to 10 thousand rupees after the elections. We give money to farmers and labourers, Narendra Modi ji gives money to Adani,” added Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi also raised the issue of an alleged BJP leader urinated over a tribal man in Madhya Pradesh. He said: “BJP leader urinated on tribal youth in Madhya Pradesh. That video of the BJP leader went viral, and we all saw it. People of BJP think that the place of tribals is in the forest, you should not go from there.”

Well, tribal voters play a crucial role in forming government in Chhattisgarh because of their large population.

Rahul Gandhi also attacked PM Modi over his remark that “the only caste exists, is that of poor and poverty.”

“Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tells the country — The word OBC has no meaning. OBC is not a caste in India. It’s just the poor. This is a matter of great shame. Modi ji, stop hiding behind words. Tell the country when will the caste census be conducted?,” said Rahul Gandhi.

Polling in Chhattisgarh will take place on November 7 and November 17 in two phases, followed by the counting of votes and declaration of results on December 3.
