Maruti Suzuki India Limited has reported its highest-ever monthly sales volume in April 2026, with a total of 239,646 units sold. This achievement includes domestic sales reaching an all-time high of 191,122 units. The company also recorded sales to other original equipment manufacturers (OEM) at 8,470 units and exports at 40,054 units.
Breaking down the sales figures, the mini segment, which includes models like Alto and S-Presso, saw sales of 16,066 units, a significant increase from 6,332 units in April 2025. The compact and mid-size segment, featuring models such as Baleno, Celerio, and Swift, achieved sales of 80,659 units, up from 61,912 units in the same month last year.
Utility vehicles, including models like Brezza and Grand Vitara, contributed to the sales with 77,892 units, compared to 59,022 units in April 2025. The van segment, represented by the Eeco model, saw sales of 13,087 units, rising from 11,438 units in the previous year.
In the light commercial vehicles (LCV) category, the Super Carry model recorded sales of 3,418 units, slightly up from 3,349 units in April 2025. Total domestic sales, including LCV, reached 191,122 units, compared to 142,053 units last year.
Sales to other OEMs were slightly down from 9,827 units in April 2025 to 8,470 units this year. However, total domestic sales, including OEM, stood at 199,592 units, up from 151,880 units last year.
Export sales also showed a significant increase, with 40,054 units sold compared to 27,911 units in April 2025.
