Eicher Motors has reported a robust 31% increase in motorcycle sales for April 2026, with a total of 1,13,164 units sold compared to 86,559 units in April 2025. This growth highlights the company’s strong start to the new fiscal year.
The sales figures include both domestic and international markets. Domestic sales saw a significant rise of 37%, with 1,04,129 units sold compared to 76,002 units in the previous year. However, international sales experienced a decline, with 9,035 units exported, marking a 14% decrease from the 10,557 units exported in April 2025.
B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, expressed optimism about the company’s performance. He noted the successful launch of the Flying Flea C6, Royal Enfield’s first step into electric mobility, which has been well-received. Additionally, Royal Enfield was recognised as the world’s third strongest automobile brand by Brand Finance, further affirming its global brand strength.
The company has also expanded its product offerings with the introduction of new variants and colour options for the Hunter 350, and announced the Himalayan Base Camp – Ladakh Edition, a unique immersive event scheduled for September 2026.
Royal Enfield’s Himalayan 450 model has achieved remarkable success, becoming the best-selling adventure motorcycle in its class in India and Brazil, with a 53% growth in annual sales outside India.
