Vedanta has announced a downgrade in its ESG rating to 54 from 57, as communicated by NSE Sustainability Ratings and Analytics Limited, a subsidiary of NSE Indices Limited. The updated rating was conveyed via email from the BSE on 30 April 2026.
NSE Sustainability, a SEBI-registered ESG Rating Provider, independently issued the updated ratings without Vedanta‘s engagement. The revised ESG ratings have been made publicly available on the NSE Sustainability website.
