Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray opened up his views on Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. On Friday he stated that the Mumbai Police are good enough to handle Sushant Singh Rajput’s investigation case and that if the case is transferred to the Bihar Police it would be an insult to the Mumbai Police officials since they are already battling COVID-19 pandemic in the city like warriors. He also asked everyone to not to politicise the actor’s death.
Later, Thackeray criticized and took on the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis. He said that Fadnavis being the former CM for five years doubted the capability and strength of the Mumbai Police.
Uddhav Thackeray said, “The state police and Mumbai police are fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. They are Covid-19 warriors and not to trust them is an insult to them. I would like to tell all Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans that they should trust Mumbai Police and pass on whatever information you have (about the case) to them.”
Right from netizens to senior politicians, everyone is demanding for a CBI probe into the actor’s death case but it seems like Maharashtra government do not want to transfer this case and have insisted everyone that the state police are capable enough to handle this investigation case.
