Actress Neena Gupta has recently launched her autobiography, which is in the conversation for many reasons. Recently the actress shared a video on her Instagram handle. In the video, we can see her at Gulzar’s residence. She went there to gift him the book and was very excited about his review.
She shared the video and wrote, “So happy and nervous ki unhen kaisi lagegi.” Many of her fans and followers loved her gesture and complimented her. Celebrities like Anil Kapoor, commented, “Fab Neena… looking forward to reading your book ❤️😍” Whereas Influencer Dolly Singh commented, “How cute are you Neena ji🥺🥺” On the other hand, she was criticized for the outfit she wore in that video. Netizens trolled her for practising western culture and told her that the outfit was age-inappropriate. Many of them said that it was disrespectful of her towards Gulzaar Saab.
Neena wore a floral co-ord set with white shoes and sunglasses. Many of her fans loved her look and commented, “Love your clothes b where is it from!”, “I loved your outfit it’s fresh, bright as you.”
The actress opened up about her views on the criticism. She told Etimes, “I fail to understand when anybody writes that I have been trolled for this. It’s plain rubbish. What’s the definition of ‘trolling’? Doesn’t it mean that several people are criticizing you? Look at the number of praises I’ve received. Should I even bother about just 2 or 4 people?”
When she was asked, would she like to say anything to the trollers, she answered, “Why? Why should I give any importance to 2 to 4 people when they comprise of just a scanty percent which is in contrast to those who’ve loved me for this?”
Neena made her comeback in the film industry with ‘Badhai Ho’ in 2018. She was last seen in the movie, ‘Sardar ka Grandson’ with Arjun Kapoor and ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’.
