The limited-time theatrical event will allow longtime fans to relive the story of Bella, Edward, and Jacob, while giving new audiences the chance to experience the beloved saga on the big screen for the first time. Exact dates for the screenings have not yet been revealed, but Lionsgate promised more details soon.

The Twilight Saga includes:

  • Twilight (2008)

  • New Moon (2009)

  • Eclipse (2010)

  • Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (2011)

  • Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012)

These films turned Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner into global stars and became a cultural phenomenon. Despite a modest budget for the first film, Twilight grossed USD 408.4 million worldwide, and the franchise collectively earned more than USD 3.3 billion across all five movies.

Director Catherine Hardwicke, who helmed the first film, reflected on its lasting appeal in 2023: “Everybody wants to have that first love. That’s just undeniable. That’s just a head rush that makes you feel ecstatic. A love that’s like a drug… And that’s what I was really trying to create in the movie.”

What Fans Can Expect

The re-release will take audiences through Bella Swan’s discovery of Edward Cullen’s vampire identity, her complicated bond with Jacob Black, and the supernatural conflicts that define their world. The final films showcase Bella and Edward’s marriage, Bella’s transformation into a vampire, the birth of their daughter Renesmee, and a climactic showdown with the powerful vampire coven, the Volturi.

For fans new and old, this theatrical event promises to bring back the magic, drama, and romance that made The Twilight Saga an unforgettable cultural phenomenon.
