Kristen DiMera, still reeling from her recent arrest for the attempted murder of her brother EJ, isn’t done causing chaos. She’s learned that Xander Cook and his brother Philip are planning to use the DiMera family’s current legal troubles to their advantage, with plans to have Titan take over DiMera Enterprises. Not one to let her power slip away, Kristen storms into Xander’s world, furious and ready to strike. What starts as a tense conversation quickly escalates into an all-out verbal showdown, with Kristen making it clear that she’s a force to be reckoned with. Xander may think he has the upper hand with an ultimatum, but Kristen is prepared to play her cards, and she’s not afraid to fight dirty.
Meanwhile, JJ Deveraux is still trying to make sense of the evidence surrounding Gabi Hernandez and her possible involvement in EJ’s shooting. Despite everything Gabi has endured—her wrongful imprisonment and the painful separation from her daughter, Ari—JJ is finding it hard to reconcile the idea that she could have shot EJ. But the evidence seems to point in her direction, and his instincts tell him something isn’t right. As JJ confronts Gabi with his doubts, the pressure mounts. Will Gabi’s explanations be enough to convince JJ of her innocence, or will the truth tear them apart?

Over on another front, Jada cannot seem to let go of her feelings for Rafe. Despite everything that happened between them, she’s still holding out hope for a second chance. However, with Sami back in town, will Jada’s desires lead her down a difficult path? Does she realize that Rafe may not be as available as she hopes, especially given his unresolved past with Sami?
