Get ready for a lot of drama on Thursday’s episode! Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is stirring things up with Belle Black (Martha Madison), while Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) tries to get Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to patch things up with his dad, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Meanwhile, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) comes home to some seriously heated emotions, and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) is dealing with a takeover crisis.
At the hospital, Sami walks in on Belle confessing her feelings to EJ and can’t resist making a sarcastic comment. Sami’s not too happy about Belle moving in on her ex, considering their complicated history. She’s going to keep pushing Belle’s buttons, but how long will Belle put up with it before she snaps?
Over with Chad, he’s trying to help Johnny deal with the fact that EJ’s in a coma. Even though Chad knows EJ’s flaws all too well, he still believes family is important. He encourages Johnny not to waste time and to fix things with his dad before it’s too late, especially after losing his own father, Stefano DiMera.
In another part of town, Rex returns to Salem with a sling on his arm after a hit-and-run accident. Even though Rex tells Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) that he’s fine, she’s furious and starts thinking that EJ might have been behind the crash. Rex tries to calm her down, but it’s clear she’s getting close to doing something drastic.
Meanwhile, at Gabi Chic, things are getting intense. Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) walk in acting like they own the place, after teaming up with Dr. Wei Shin. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is getting kicked out, and Gabi’s facing a major takeover. Xander and Philip are definitely enjoying her downfall and won’t hesitate to rub it in.
Lastly, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is struggling with guilt. He’s still hiding the truth about the forged letter but decides to open up to Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) about how uncomfortable he’s getting with all the lies and how Xander’s being treated.
